Ares do Pinhal , ADP (Portugal)
Principal Investigator: Hugo Faria
A harm-reduction NGO with 35+ years’ experience supporting people who use drugs, migrants and socially excluded communities. ADP operates mobile and community services (rapid testing, tele-/decentralised hepatology consultations, addiction and mental-health support) and coordinates screening, referral and follow-up within Portuguese sites.
Unidad Movil de Cribado, UMC (Madrid)
Principal Investigator: Dr. Jorge Valencia
Madrid’s pioneering mobile screening unit delivers low-threshold, street-level testing and linkage to care for viral hepatitis, HIV and STIs among homeless people, PWUD/PWID and other underserved groups, and leads the project’s clinical research, protocol design and data management.
Croatian Society for Liver Diseases “Hepatos” (Croatia)
Principal Investigator: Tatjana Reić
A patient-focused organisation running the WHO-recognised Mobile InfoHep Centre (MIHC). Hepatos offers on-site HBV/HCV/HIV testing, FibroScan® liver assessment and immediate linkage to specialist care in community and prison settings, and leads national outreach, education and policy engagement.
Together, the consortium represents a blend of clinical expertise, public health leadership and frontline community engagement.
