Mobile units

Three mobile outreach teams bring MOBHOPE into communities in Spain, Portugal and Croatia. Each contributes local experience to a shared approach to accessible care.

SpainMobile screening unit

UMC · Madrid Positivo

The Unidad Móvil de Cribado (UMC), managed by Asociación Madrid Positivo, carries out community outreach and screening in Madrid.

The mobile unit operated by Ares do Pinhal provides community support and harm reduction services in Portugal.

The mobile InfoHep Centre operated by Hepatos supports communities in Croatia, contributing its experience in community liver health.

European project coordination is led by the Fundación para la Investigación Biomédica del Hospital Gregorio Marañón (FIBHGM). The three organisations above operate the community mobile units.

European Union funding

MOBHOPE is co-funded through EU4Health under Grant Agreement No 101233203, as listed in the official European Commission project profile. The project runs from 1 November 2025 to 31 October 2028. EU4H-2024-PJ-03 identifies the call. The project is coordinated by Fundación para la Investigación Biomédica del Hospital Gregorio Marañón (FIBHGM).
