MOBHOPE — Mobile Hepatitis Outreach and Prevention Effort — brings together teams in Spain, Portugal and Croatia to improve access to prevention, screening and care for viral hepatitis, HIV, other sexually transmitted infections and liver disease. Coordinated by the Fundación para la Investigación Biomédica del Hospital Gregorio Marañón (FIBHGM), the 36-month project runs from November 2025 to October 2028.

The Fundación para la Investigación Biomédica del Hospital Gregorio Marañón (FIBHGM) coordinates MOBHOPE. The project's community activities are delivered by the three mobile units in Spain, Portugal and Croatia.

MOBHOPE works through three mobile units: UMC, managed by Asociación Madrid Positivo in Spain; Ares do Pinhal (ADP) in Portugal; and Hepatos in Croatia. The European project is coordinated by the Fundación para la Investigación Biomédica del Hospital Gregorio Marañón (FIBHGM).

Care without stigma.

MOBHOPE is examining stigma experienced by people living with viral hepatitis, using tools developed by the World Hepatitis Alliance and ECDC. The questionnaires are deployed in our three mobile units.
